Dr. Pamela Miller, OD, FAAO, JD, FNAP, has a private optometric and consulting practice in Highland, California.
Her general optometric practice encompasses contact lenses, low vision and some vision therapy, and she holds a therapeutic and glaucoma license. Dr. Miller’s law degree gives her additional expertise into the legal aspects of practice.
Dr. Miller received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from Southern California College of Optometry and her Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Loma Linda College of Law. She is a Fellow Emeritus of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and a Fellow (Distinguished Member) of National Academies of Practice (FNAP).
She has served on both the California State Board of Optometry and the Board of Trustees of the California Optometric Association. She currently serves on the Essilor Myopia Task Force.
Dr. Miller has written three books, contributed to four books, and is a widely published author and lecturer. Her special interests include citrus farming, property management and animal rescue.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Miller also sits on a number of community and professional advisory and editorial boards and is an advisor on the Bio-Med committee of her local high school.
